About Sestriere
Sestriere is a purpose-built resort at 2,035m that's the highest point of the Via Lattea — a massive network reaching into France. The village was built for Fiat employees in the 1930s and retains a functional, modernist aesthetic. The skiing is vast and varied, with reliable snow at altitude and easy access to the French side at Montgenèvre.
